Winter Bible Studies
Are you looking to grow deeper in your faith, enhance your knowledge of God’s word, and make new friends? Taking part in a Pathway Bible study is a great way to do all three! Here are the complete details:
For Women — Our 11-week study will begin this Tuesday, January 21, and our curriculum will cover the gospel of Matthew, chapters 14-28. Participants will learn about how Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s promises to His people and how He came to establish God’s Kingdom on Earth. The cost is $10, and for your convenience we’ll gather in two different ways:
•In Person — Live teaching and small groups each Tuesday from 9:15-11:15am or from 6:30-8:30pm
•On Zoom (depending on interest) — Each Wednesday from 8-9pm
Sign up or learn more at womenatpathway.com.
For Men — A deep dive into the book of Matthew will launch this Tuesday, January 21, and will continue each Tuesday evening through April 8. Our Wednesday morning study will begin on January 22 and will focus on the book of Galatians. This study runs from 8-9am each week, and then participants will head over to the Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe for breakfast afterward. To learn more or to sign up, email Tim Nix at tjnixnormal@aol.com.
GriefShare
A new session of GriefShare will meet from 2-4pm on Mondays, beginning February 17. If you are grieving the death of a loved one, this group will provide support, encouragement, and hope as you move forward from your loss. There is a $25 fee for a class workbook and we will not have child care available, so please plan accordingly. Registration will begin later this month, but you can learn more by emailing Karen Worrell at kworrell@lifeatpathway.com.
Women’s Ministry Events
Coffee & Connections — New to Pathway or our Women's Ministry? Join us for our next Coffee & Connections from 10:15-10:45am this Sunday, January 19. We’ll gather at our Chippewa Campus for great coffee drinks and even better conversation. It’s a wonderful way to meet other women and learn more about our ministry activities.
January Hike — What could be more refreshing than a winter walk in the woods? How about a hike with other women from Pathway! Our next outdoor connection will take place at 9:30am on Saturday, January 25. We’ll gather at the Four Seasons Pavilion inside Brady’s Run Park, which is located across from the playground. Our hike will cover 3-to-4 miles, so please wear proper shoes since parts of the trail can be snowy or muddy. To learn more or to sign up, visit lifeatpathway.com or call Samantha Trimble at 724.417.7004.
Special Event for Men
Attention, Pathway men! If you enjoy great food, laughter, and fun, then you won’t want to miss our second “Friday Fellowship Feast!” We’ll enjoy a delicious meal, explore how we communicate with God, then engage in a time of prayer together. This special event is set for 6:30pm on Friday, February 7, at the Chippewa Campus.
